Roy is an accomplished construction industry professional with 40-plus years of business experience. His career began as a Captain in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, where he kindled his interest in the construction industry. This interest gained momentum during college, when he worked as an intern at a steel corporation and held a series of positions in production and industrial engineering.
He is a global thinker and an expert in identifying market opportunity. When co-founding a company to capitalize on the emerging environmental cleanup industry, he led it to become one of the top five abatement contractors in the United States. Roy is a licensed real estate broker and has worked in real estate development and marketing, and he started the Texas branch of a Florida engineering, architectural and consulting firm.
With a knack for reenergizing companies by diversifying their business, Roy implemented a strategic plan that grew one general contractor by 200%. When another general contractor sought diversity beyond a single niche market to a broad commercial base, Roy stepped in and secured $200 million of new work with an aggressive marketing and sales program.
